DIET: I know this is really hard especially during the Holidays, but your diet has so much to do with your immune system. Just think of the quote “Let food be thy medicine”. Pathogens get so much fuel off sugars! You can definitely indulge during the holidays, but just remember…everything in moderation. Try to keep a good foundational diet and high water intake to help combat the extra sugar and treats you might be consuming during this time.
PROBIOTICS: More and more research is coming out about probiotics. Specifically, the Bifidobacteria strains have been shown in clinical studies to reduce the risk of respiratory infections in healthy patients.
